WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Golf Head Coach Evan DeLuca has announced his program's fall schedule, featuring the women's team competing in six tournaments across the Northeast while the men's team will be in action five times.
On the women's side, New Haven will begin tournament play at the Bucknell Invitational, hosted by Bucknell, on Saturday, Sept. 12. The following Monday (Sept. 21), the Chargers will compete in the Red Bandana Classic, hosted by Boston College. To wrap up the month of September, New Haven will spend Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 28-29) competing in the Sacred Heart Fall Classic.
The UAlbany Great Dane Invitational awaits the Chargers, with the tournament getting underway on Sunday, Oct. 11. The Crusader Classic, hosted by Holy Cross, will follow, beginning on Monday, Oct. 19. The fall season comes to a close with the sixth tournament on the schedule, the Lehigh Invitational, on Monday, Oct. 26.
On the men's side, the season opens with the Red Bandana Classic at Boston College on Monday, Sept. 6. This marks the first time the men's team will compete in the tournament. The second and final tournament in September is the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate, hosted by Brown University, beginning on Saturday, Sept. 19.
To open October, New Haven will take part in the Sacred Heart Fall Classic, beginning on Monday, Oct. 12. The following Monday, the Blue & Gold will travel to Delaware for the Delaware Blue Hen Invitational. The fall schedule comes to a close the following week at the Iona University Wykagyl Collegiate, with play beginning on Monday, Oct. 26.
