WALTHAM, Mass. – Back to the show the University of New Haven Volleyball team makes their 37th appearance in the NCAA Tournament as the Chargers begin their quest for a regional crown on the road in Waltham. The Chargers who earned the No. 4 seed  

The Chargers who earned the No. 4 seed will open up their tournament with a rematch of last year's Northeast 10 Championship match and a rematch of this year's meeting where New Haven has bested the No. 5 Panthers of Adelphi University. New Haven who bested the Panthers on the Panthers home court and won the regular season meeting this year in West Haven will battle out for a first round victory on fellow NE10 schools court, the Falcons on Bentley. 

The Chargers this season finished 19-10 and are looking for redemption after falling in the conference semifinals to Bentley who they could face in the second round with a win over Adelphi. Led by sophomore Outside Hitter Grace Juergens (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) who led the blue and gold with 306 kills, head coach Ana Pego will also look to Sofia Kamke (Santa Catarina, Brazil/Escola Tecnica do Vale do Itajai) and Amber Williams (Lilburn, Ga./Brookwood) to be key pieces for the New Haven attack as they look to make a deep run in the tournament as the Chargers return to the tournament in back to back seasons.

New Haven travels to Waltham for their match against Adelphi scheduled for Thursday, December 5 and with a win they advance and keep playing in the tournament. All updates, schedules, and post-match recaps for the team will be available at Newhavenchargers.com.
