MANSFIELD, Mass. –
After returning to the Northeast-10 Conference tournament for the first time under head coach Margaret Maclean, a pair of Chargers capped off their senior seasons earning All-Conference accolades as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Leading the postseason honors was defender Kelli Jacobson (North Branford, Conn./North Branford) who scored a spot on the All-Conference Second Team. Despite being listed as a defenseman, Jacobson is a key played on both ends of the field as she plays a critical role in the penalty corner offense.

Starting all 19 games on the season, Jacobson wrapped up her senior season with seven points on a pair of goals and three assists. Among her two goals was a game-winning tally which came in a road NE10 win over Saint Michael's. Also among the career top-10 is graduate attack Abby Nixon (Wrentham, Mass./King Phillip Regional) who picked up an All-Conference Third Team honor after leading the Chargers with nine goals and adding a single assist for 19 points. Nixon's stick got hot late in the season as she saw eight of her nine goals come in the final nine games of the season, including setting a career-best and individual game school record drilling the backboard four times in the Chargers road win at Saint Michael's.
