MANSFIELD, Mass. –
Following another successful spring semester on the fields and courts and in the classroom, 13 New Haven student-athletes were named to the NE10's Academic All-Conference teams representing the 10 spring sports as announced by the league office.

Overall, the Northeast-10 Conference honored 135 student-athletes across the 10 sports, with New Haven's 13 honorees representing five of the 10 sports. An All-American on the field, Laura Agbayani (Niantic, Conn./East Lyme) highlighted the group for the Chargers while among the 13 total honorees, 12 were named to NE10 All-Conference Teams and six received All-Region honors. Overall, Agbayani was one of four from women's lacrosse to earn the honor, joined by Cameryn Antler (Hebron, Conn./Mercy), Justine Doyle (Derry, N.H./Pinkerton Academy) and Gianna Caprioli (Clinton Corners, N.Y./Franklin Delano Roosevelt). The four from women's lacrosse were the most for a single sport for the Chargers.

Both women's track & field and baseball saw a trio of honorees. On the baseball side it was the All-Region honors from Matt McIntire (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) and Liam Carroll (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa) that led the way as they were joined by Tyler Wells (Danville, Vt./St. Johnsbury Academy). Kristen Washington (New Haven, Conn./James Hillhouse) highlighted the track and field honorees, selected for Academic All-Conference after taking home women's field Athlete of the Year honors. Joining her from the women's track and field side was Jalynn McCown (Guilford, Conn./Guilford) and Anita Hodge (Fords, N.J./Woodbridge).

Rounding out the Chargers honors was Nile Colson (Rochester, N.Y./Aquinas Institute) from men' track & field and a pair of women's tennis honorees in Valentinna Ferrarini (Caxias do Sul, Brazil) and Lucia Placidi (Melbourne, Australia/Distance Education Centre Victoria). Both tennis and baseball saw the academic honors come after earning NE10 Championships with baseball winning the league tournament and women's tennis taking a share of the regular season title.

All combined the five teams represented finished the spring season with a combined 55 wins with baseball and women's lacrosse each advancing to their respective NCAA Division II East Regional Championship.
