WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The NEC has announced its weekly football accolades, and AJ Duffy (St. Augustine, Fla./Rancho Verde) has earned the NEC/Atlantic Tomorrow's Office Co-Offensive Player of the Week following the season finale on Saturday.
Duffy totaled four touchdowns in New Haven's 41-31 win, with three coming through the air and one on the ground from a yard out.
The St. Augustine, Fla. native finished the day going 15/26 with 311 yards and three scores through the air. On the ground, the traditional pocket passer showcased his mobility, running for 70 yards and dragging defenders along with him, opting to absorb contact rather than slide.
