New Haven Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Lacrosse Head Coach Kit announced her team's schedule for 2026 on Monday afternoon. In her first year leading the program, Coach Kit will guide the Blue & Gold through 14 games as it transitions to the NCAA Division I level.

Coach Kit's first game at the helm will come on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Kathy Zolad Stadium against the Sacred Heart University Pioneers. The 2026 opener will begin at 3:00 p.m.

Four consecutive road games will follow for the Blue & Gold, as it will match up against Wofford College on Friday, Feb. 27, Presbyterian College on Sunday, Mar. 1, Merrimack College on Wednesday, Mar. 4, and Quinnipiac University on Saturday, Mar. 7.

The NEC slate begins with a home match against Mercyhurst University on Saturday, Mar. 14. It marks the first home conference lacrosse match played at home for the New Haven Lacrosse program.

The campaign continues the following Saturday, Mar. 21, as the Chargers head to Staten Island, N.Y., to visit the Wagner College Seahawks. Another NEC game follows when New Haven travels to FDU on Wednesday, Mar. 25, to take on the Knights.

New Haven returns home for three straight NEC games as it hosts LIU on Saturday, Mar. 28, Le Moyne College on Saturday, Apr. 4, and Howard University on Wednesday, Apr. 8. The games against LIU and Le Moyne will begin at 1:00 p.m., and the Howard match will get underway at 3:00 p.m.

New Haven's final three games will be played on consecutive Saturdays. The first of the three, a road game at Stonehill, is set for Apr. 11 and scheduled to get underway at 12:00 p.m. The second, the final home game for the Blue & Gold, is set for Apr. 18, at 1:00 p.m. The 2026 finale, at Delaware State University, will be played on Apr. 25.
