STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.—The University of New Haven Men's' and Women's Track and Field teams are wrapping up their indoor season with standout performances at the FastTrack Last Chance meet in Staten Island, New York, on Friday.
Jada Kamtha (St. Catherine, Jamaica/Wolmer's Trust High School for Girls) continued her impressive season by crushing her own record in the 60m hurdles. Kamtha clocked in at 8.56 seconds, securing her second place.
Jordan Dely and
Jordan Emile (Stoughton, Mass./Stoughton) both had dominant performances in the men's 60m hurdles. The duo took home first and second place. Dely crossed the finish line at 18.14 seconds, while Emile was right on his heels clocking in at 18.17 seconds.
Nile Love (Wheatley Heights, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills East) earned a third place finish in Long jump, receiving a mark of 7.10m. D'Jior Delissier also delivered a strong finish in Long Jump, securing a second place finish, with a 5.75m jump in the event.
Jimmy Oreste (Jamaica, N.Y./) recorded a 16.60m throw in the weight throw, earning a third place finish in the event.
