BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – The NEC announced its Outdoor Track & Field weekly award winners on Wednesday afternoon, with
Jhelani Anderson (Bronx, N.Y./DeWitt Clinton) earning NEC Rookie of the Week honors.
Anderson finished first in the men's 200m (21.59s) and 100m (10.50s) in the Mark Young Invitational, hosted by Yale University. This is the second time that Anderson has taken home a major weekly award from the NEC.
Anderson and the Chargers are back on the track tomorrow, Thursday, Apr. 23, as they take part in the historic Penn Relays in Philadelphia.
