2015: Appeared in four games for the Chargers, including a pair of starts…Threw for 158 yards and a touchdown while also running for 41 yards on 10 carries…Opened the season with 136 yards in the air on six completions against Slippery Rock (9/5)…Connected with Andre Anderson in that same game for a 78 yard touchdown pass, the longest score in the air for the Chargers all season.

Prior to New Haven: Started 11 games as the quarterback at Dakota College at Bottineau in 2013...Threw for 1,604 yards and 16 touchdowns...Longest of the season was a 95 yard completion...Averaged 145.8 yards per game in the air and finished with a 40.8 completion percentage...Also rushed for 46 yards and a pair of touchdowns...Best game came against Cole College when he finished with 318 yards and five touchdowns.

High School: Threw for over 3,000 yards and collected 43 touchdowns in the air...Also ran for more than 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns...Received All-District Honorable Mention as a sophomore and senior...Also played basketball and ran track and field.

Personal: Son of Shonda Smith and Kevin Mumphrey...Father was a wide receiver and tight end for the University of Louisville.
