Biography

Before New Haven: Played three seasons of football at Elon...Finished with 343 yards on 82 attempts over 20 total games...scored his first career touchdown in 2014 when he scored on a six yard run with 3:28 remaining in the fourth quarter against New Hampshire...Career-high rushing yards in a game came as a freshman in 2012 when he ran for 110 yards on 15 carries against West Virginia State.

High School: Played one season of football at Deerfield Academy, earning All-New England honors…Rushed for 727 yards and 10 scores in seven games…At Page High School, ran for 1,579 yards and 11 TDs in his career…East-West All-Star game participant.

Personal: Son of Hiep and Trang Nguyen...Has one brother, Duy-Tan and two sisters, Jenny and April.
