Cross Country Releases 2019 Schedule

WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven head cross country coach Nicholas Noheimer has announced the Chargers men's and women's cross country schedules for the upcoming 2019 season. The slate features four meets leading up to the Northeast-10 Conference Championships on October 27 in upstate New York.

The Chargers will start the season at the Adelphi Panther Invitational at Bethpage State Park on Friday, September 6. This will mark the third straight year New Haven will kick off the season at the Adelphi meet, dating back to the race's inaugural event in 2017.

After a week off, New Haven will follow with meets on three consecutive weekends, beginning on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational. One week later, New Hampshire's Hopkinton State Fairgrounds will host the Chargers as part of the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup on September 28.

The final regular season meet will take place on October 5 at Stanley Park in Massachusetts with the James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State.

The NE10 Championships will be hosted by Le Moyne College on Sunday, October 27 at Jamesville Beach Park in Jamesville, N.Y. The postseason continues with qualifiers heading to the NCAA East Region Championships at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia on November 9. This year's NCAA Division II National Championships will take place in Sacramento, Calif. on Nov. 23.
