MANSFIELD, Mass. – For the first time this season, New Haven men's soccer rookie forward Pau Santanach (Barcelona, Spain/Collegi CreaNova) hauled in a weekly honor from the Northeast-10 Conference when he grabbed Player and Rookie of the Week accolades as announced by the league office.

Santanach finished a 2-0 week for the Chargers with nine points on four goals and an assist. He finished with a pair of goals in each of the Chargers victories, including the credit for the game-winner in both outings.

In the 3-2 win over Le Moyne that capped off the weekend on Saturday night, Santanach had a hand in all three of the Chargers goals, adding an assist on the opening tally of the game before scoring two of his own.

Santanach and the Chargers cap off the regular season this week when they travel to Waltham, Mass. to take on the Bentley Falcons. Opening kickoff in the regular season finale is slated for 12:00 p.m.
