THE LEAD
For the first time since 2010 and for only the second time since joining the NE10 in fall of 2008, the University of New Haven men's soccer team has reached the postseason. Coming in as the seven seed, the Chargers will take on the second seed AIC Yellow Jackets at Ronald J. Abdow Field on Nov. 6 at 1:00 PM.
INSIDE THE SERIES
The series has been a tightly contested one, with American International holding a slight 14-12-1 edge over the Chargers. However, New Haven is 6-5-1 when hosted by the Yellow Jackets. The two teams met earlier in the season on Sept. 18, resulting in a 4-2 AIC win. Click Here for a complete series history.
SCOUTING THE CHARGERS (8-5-2, 5-5-2Â NE10)
The Charger's offense continues to heat up, after picking up their third-straight win. Last time the Chargers took the pitch, the squad shut out the Bentley Falcons, 4-0 on Wednesday, Nov. 3.
New Haven was lead to success by freshman forward Pau Santanach (Barcelona, Spain/Collegi CreaNova), who, after being named NE10 Player and Rookie of the Week, delivered another big performance, his third-straight game with 4+ points and fifth of the year.

The last time AIC took the field was Nov. 3 in a 1-0 loss to the No. 4 Franklin Pierce Ravens.
