THE LEAD
One of two one-loss teams in the NE10 standings, the Chargers look for their fifth-straight win and to stay in contention for the top spot in the league rankings when they head back to Manchester, N.H. to face the Southern New Hampshire Penmen. Tip off form Stan Spirou Field House is set for 7:30 p.m. following the women's game.

SCOUTING THE CHARGERS
In the midst of an 11-game NE10 series that begins with back-to-back trips to Manchester, N.H., New Haven has relied heavily on its starting five who are all averaging more than 31 minutes per game, with four of the five averaging in double figures and the five combined providing 86% of the total scoring (820-of-953 total points). Leading the team individually is senior transfer Ty Perry (Boston, Mass./Brighton) who is averaging 16.5 ppg, third best in the NE10. He is followed closely by both graduate guard Quashawn Lane (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Catholic Academy) and junior Davontrey Thomas (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Poughkeepsie) at 14.8 and 14.6 ppg, respectively. Rounding out the starting five is Victor Olawoye (Elmont, N.Y./Elmont Memorial High School) and Majur Majak (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./) who average 10.0 and 8.5 ppg, respectively. Among the five, Majak leads the team and the NE10 with an impressive 75.0 percent (48-of-64) shooting from the field, while Lane is also among the best in the league at 55.2 percent (74-of-134). Majak is also the NE10's leading shot blocker with 39 stuffed attempts, which also ranks him second nationally in total blocks.

SCOUTING THE PENMEN
Riding a four-game win streak into the midweek battle against UNH, the Penmen hold an 8-6 overall record and a 5-3 mark in the Northeast-10, with the last three wins in the current streak all against NE10 opponents. As a team, SNHU is averaging 67.9 points per game, while holding opponents to 66.6 ppg. Individually, SNHU is led by Matt Becht who is one of three players averaging double figures with 15.4 ppg, while shooting 63-of-142 and the majority of those shots (43) coming from outside the three-point arc. The 43 three pointers from Becht is currently tied for third most in the conference. Joining Becht in leading the team's offensive efforts is Ethan Okwuosa and Evan Guillory who is averaging 11.8 and 11.5 ppg, respectively.
