FULL NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Graduate goalkeeper Archie Watts (Bristol, England/SGS College) continued his success between he pipes, playing 149 minutes without allowing a goal in a pair of games last week, earning him Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week honors as announced by the league office.

Watts played the full 90 minutes as he earned his conference leading seventh shutout of the season in a 0-0 draw with Saint Anselm. His seven shutouts is also sixth best in the country. Watts followed up that game playing 59 scoreless minutes in a non-conference clash with Staten Island, decreasing his goals-against average yet again to a low of 0.55 which leads the NE10 and is fifth lowest in NCAA DII.

New Haven will return to action with a single game in the week ahead as they welcome the conference leading Southern New Hampshire Penmen to Kathy Zolad Stadium under the lights on Friday, October 1. Opening kickoff against the Penmen is set for 6:00 p.m. with all of the action available on NE10 Now on Flo College.
