WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The NEC announced its weekly award winners on Monday afternoon, featuring New Haven Women's Basketball's
Addisen Sulikowski (Saco, ME/Thornton Academy) being tabbed as NEC Women's Co-Player of the Week, picking up the honor for the second time this month and second time overall.
Sulikowski started the Western Pennsylvania road trip off with a 17-point effort at Mercyhurst. The sophomore forward pulled down six rebounds in 31 minutes of work in the Chargers 66-63 loss to the Lakers. Sulikowski hit five three-pointers in the contest.
Continuing her stellar play, the Saco, Maine native poured in a career-high 27 points at St. Francis in a 61-60 win. Once again, she collected six rebounds and connected five times from beyond the arc.
For the week, Sulikowski averaged 22 points, six rebounds, shot .625 (10-16) from deep, and .630 (17-27) from the field. She shares the honor this week with Keona McGee of Chicago State.
New Haven will next host Mercyhurst on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 6:00 p.m.
