WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Men's and Women's Golf each participated in tournaments over the last week. The men's team traveled to Providence, R.I. for the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Tournament, hosted by Brown University, while the women took part in the Red Bandanna Classic, hosted by Boston College.

A tie for fourth place with Iona was in line for the men's program after the team collectively finished +7. Tommaso Rossin (Milan, Italy/Istituto Leonardo Da Vinci) finished tied for fifth place individually, with a three-round score of +3|-5|-1, shooting -3 for the tournament overall. Hermann Gavilan (Valencia, Spain) and Max Pawloski (Bethel, Conn./Bethel) each shot +2 for the tournament, tied for 13th.

On the women's side, Natalie Kent (Newport Beach, Cali./Tesoro) was the Blue & Gold's top finisher, shooting +25 for the tournament. Gabi Aya and Hilla Dires finished with the same score (+38) while Addison Kofal (Hammnod, Wis./St. Croix Central) (+41) was not far behind.

The men's program is back in action on Monday, Oct. 12 at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic. The women's program will return to play on Monday, Sept. 28, also at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic.
