WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The University of New Haven men's and women's cross country teams have announced their 2026 meet schedule. They will compete in five races throughout the fall with two invitationals and two championship meets on the docket. 

For the first meet of the season, the Blue & Gold will head north to the capital city for the University of Hartford XC Invitational on Sept. 5.

Next, after a few weeks' break, the Chargers will race in the 53rd UMass Dartmouth XC Invitational. The race is slated for Saturday, Sept. 19 in North Dartmouth, MA. 

On Oct. 9, the Blue & Gold will send their best performers to the NEICAAA Cross Country Championships. The regional championship race will take place at the Hopkinton Fair Grounds in Hopkinton, NH. The women will race first starting at 2:00 p.m., with the men to follow. 

The Chargers will return back to Connecticut and compete in the CCSU Mini Meet. That meet is slated for Friday, Oct. 23 in New Britain. 

Wrapping up the season, the Blue & Gold will compete among the best in the conference in the NEC Cross Country Championships. LIU will host the championship race on Oct. 31 in Brookville, NY.
