Biography

2023-24: CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in all six meets during the fall cross country season … Finished top six for the Chargers in all six meets, with his best finishing third for the Blue and Gold at the Bruce Kirsch Invitational with a season-best time of 27:54.9 on an 8K course, leading to a 42nd place finish in the field of 99 runners … Opened up the season with a top-20 finish at the Wesleyan Cardinal Invitational … Finished 81st at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship and 96th overall at the NCAA Division II East Region Championship.

2022-23: Earned Academic Honors accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following both the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in all six of the Chargers meets, finishing among the scoring-five in four of the six meets… Best individual finish came in the season opener, the Wesleyan Cardinal Invitational where he finished 37th among a field of 97 with a time of 20:46.8, fourth best on the team … Also finished fifth for the Chargers at two meets, the Ted Owen Invitational and the New England Championship, the latter of which posting a long-course best of 28:07 … Closed out the season as the third finisher for the Blue and Gold at the NCAA East Regionals with a time of 35:11.1, finishing 63rd among the field of 146 runners. INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Competed in six meets during the indoor season … Opened up the indoor schedule with a personal best in the 3,000-meter run with a third place finish at the Art Kaddish Elm City Challenge… Followed that up with another PR, this time in the mile run at the Coast Guard Winter Invitational, wrapping that event up with a time of 4:46.16, taking home runner-up accolades… Also posted a third place finish in the 800-meter run at the William Sutherland Invitational … Capped off his indoor season with another personal best, this time in the 800-meter run at the NE10 Championships with a time of 2:01.73. OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Took part in five meets during the outdoor season, including qualifying for the NE10 Championship in the 3,000 steeplechase … Set a personal best in the steeplechase at the Silfen invitational with a time of 10:34.48 … Set two other PR’s during the outdoor season – the 5,000-meter run (16:27.68) at the Ramapo College Track and Field Invitational and in the 1,500-meter run (4:19.33) at the Jay Carisella Coaches Invitational.

2021-22: Earned Academic Honors (Fall 2021) and Academic Distinction (Spring 2022) accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll and named to the New Haven Dean’s List following the spring semester. CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in three meets for the Chargers … Best individual finish came at the Trinity bantam Invitational where he finished 66th among a field of 101 runners with a time of 20:31.3. INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Competed in four meets during the indoor season, including running a pair of relays at the NE10 Indoor Track and Field Championships – the 4x800 and distance medley … Set a personal best in the 1,000-meter run at the Yale Season Opener with a time of 2:43.76, finishing the event in fifth place overall. OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Competed in eight meets during the outdoor season, splitting time between the 800-meter and 1,500-meter events as well as joining both the 4x400 and 4x800 meter relays … Competed in the 4x800 and the 3,000 steeplechase at the NE10 Outdoor Championships, finishing the individual event in ninth place overall.

2020-21: Earned Academic Honors accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following both the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters. CROSS COUNTRY: 2020 cross country season cancelled due to the CoVID-19 Pandemic. INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: 2020-21 2020 indoor track and field season cancelled due to the CoVID-19 Pandemic. OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Did not compete during the 2021 outdoor season.

2019-20: Earned Academic Honors accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll following the Spring 2020 semester. CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in all six of the meets during his rookie cross country season … Finished among the top-eight in all six meets, including scoring for the Chargers in two meets, the Adelphi Panther Invitational and the NCAA East Regionals … Best individual finish came at the season-opening Adelphi Panther Invitational, finishing 34th among a field of 109 runners with a time of 29:21.2 … Also posted a top-40 finish at the Bruce Kirsch Cross Country Cup, closing out the meet 39th overall with a time of 29:57.1 … Wrapped up his season as the fifth best finisher for the Chargers at the NCAA Regionals with a time of 37:19.9. INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Competed in seven meets during the indoor season, prior to the season being halted due to the CoVID-19 pandemic … Ran both the mile and the 800-meter run during his rookie indoor season … Opened up the indoor season with a first place finish in the mile at the Elm City Challenge, posting a time of 5:06.28 … Ran the 800 on three occasions, with a pair of sixth place finishes at the Lyons Invitational (2:10.55) and the Giegengack Invitational (2:12.33). High School: Competed for three years on the track and field team for the wolves of Martin Luther King High School in Riverside, California … Received Scholar-Athlete honors and named Most Improved.
