BOSTON, Mass. - The University of New Haven men's and women's cross country teams completed at the New England Championships on Saturday morning at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. The men's team finished in 41st place, while the women's team finished in 23rd place in the sub varsity run.

Samuel Montclair led the men's team with a 185th place finish in a time of 26:56. Two others, Ryan Freitas and Timothy Nohelty, also finished in under 28 minutes. Jacob McAndrew and Patrick Leach round out the Chargers top five finishers.

The women's team competed in the sub varsity category and finished in 23rd place. Dominique Stasulli led the team with a 44th place finish in a time of 19:53, while Lauren DiMitruck was second on the team with a time of 21:04. Tania Bernardino, Bridget Faria and Shannon Hall rounds out the Chargers top finishers.

The New Haven men's and women's cross country teams return to action on Friday, October 22 when they travel to the 8th Annual CCSU Mini Meet in New Britain, Conn.
