GILBERT, AZ. – The University of New Haven field hockey team has landed 10 of its student-athletes on the 2019 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad. New Haven's 10 student-athletes are among 423 nationally from 33 different institution who earned a spot on the list. All honorees achieved a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA through the fall 2019 semester.
Last week, the Chargers were recognized with the Division II National Academic Team Award, which recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the 2019-20 school year. The field hockey team was one of 30 Division II programs to be recognized for its academic achievements. This past fall semester, the Chargers amassed a 3.39 GPA.
