FULL RESULTS
CONTOOCOOK, N.H. – The New Haven women's cross country team wrapped up its fall season at the NCAA Division II East Region Championship, finishing 13th, of 15 teams, on the 6K course at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds.
Leading the way individually was sophomore Elsie Kaas (Elverson, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) who closed out the course 52nd overall among 117 runners with a time of 24:22.4. Following her in the standings was a pair of freshman, Sarah Rutledgs and Bernadette Karpel (New Haven, Conn./Hillhouse) who finished 80th and 91st overall. Rutledge closed out the course in a time of 26:06.1, while Karpel was a minute behind her at 27:07.0. Â
Rounding out the Blue and Gold on the course was a sophomore duo of Jennifer Torres and Gabriella Abruzzo (North Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) in 106th and 110th place overall with times of 29:41.9 and 30:27.8.
