FULL NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE RELEASE
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Another scorching hot bat for the Chargers and another Northeast-10 weekly award, this time around for freshman outfielder Owen Pincince (North Haven, Conn./North Haven), the second such honor for Pincince in the last three weeks.
The rookie finished with an .800 average, connecting on eight hits in 10 at bats. Among his eight hits was a pair of doubles, while he drove in four runs and scored four times.
The North Haven, Conn. native finished with three hits each against Lynn and Adelphi and wrapped up the week with a pair of hits against in-state rival Bridgeport. His four RBI came split evenly against the Panthers and Purple Knights, while he also scored twice in each of those games.
Pincince and the Chargers will return to the diamond on Wednesday when they head to Uniondale, N.Y. to take on the Molloy Lions in a single midweek non-conference game. First pitch at Mitchel Athletic Complex is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
