Loane, a standout offensive lineman for the Chargers, hails from Stonington, CT and started all but one game for the Chargers from his sophomore to senior seasons. The epitome of reliability up front, Loane was named to the All-New England Second Team in back-to-back seasons, in 1988 and 1989. Across his four seasons in the Blue and Gold, the Chargers won 30 of 40 games. Following his time at UNH, Loane went on to play for the New Jersey Raiders in semi-pro football. He co-founded the Loane Family Fuel Fund in 2022, providing free nutrition and supplements to student-athletes. Additionally, he established the Ingram Lee Foundation Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund at the University of New Haven, helping to support students' education.
