Vic Cweklinsky was a member of the first New Haven baseball team and made immediate contributions, pitching in 15 of the team’s 20 games in 1963.

In each of his four season, he won six or more decisions, including a career-high eight victories in his freshman and senior seasons. Cweklinsky was the second pitcher in UNH history to register 200 career strikeouts, fanning 238 batters during his four years.

He worked over 265 innings during his career which, at the time of his induction, was the ninth-highest total in the UNH record book. He was a major contributor in three Southern New England Conference titles, owning an 11-1 record with a 1.42 ERA.
